This “Ten Minutes” podcast features Lisa Maghini Santiago, a Bristol native who works at an elementary school in Plainville as a registered behavior technician. She assists teachers and staff in delivering behavior analysis services and treatment plans, working closely with the special education team.
She is sheltering at home with her husband and four children. Her husband, Miguel, is retired from the state where he worked as a supervisor at a Connecticut juvenile training school. He currently works as a paraprofessional at Bristol Central High School. Their children range in age from early teens to mid 20s.
I caught up with Lisa as she was heading out to walk the family dog. We talked on Sunday, May 3. Note: Years ago, Lisa babysat my kids. During the conversation, we shared a laugh about those good old days.
