May arrived as scheduled bringing with it an impressive sunset over New Departure; flowers bloomed and the Connecticut National Guard flew a C-130 transport over Bristol Hospital in a salute to healthcare facilities.
As the calendar ticked off the days, Little League bleachers remained lonely; Bristol residents went to and fro enjoying Memorial Boulevard because it was closed to traffic; a dazzling azure sky set up shop over Shrub Rd. and Bristol institutions continued showing their support for healthcare workers and essential employees while providing uplifting messages.
