A second local #Black Lives Matter protest will be held on the Federal Hill Green, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 4.

Melina Floyd posted the announcement, “Peaceful Protest in Bristol CT,” via Facebook on Tuesday.

“We cannot let the conversation die,” she wrote. “We have to keep making change happen.”

In the announcement, Floyd asks participants to wear proper masks and socially distance.

Floyd is a Bristol resident and a member of the 2014 graduating class at Bristol Eastern High School, as stated on her Facebook page.
