The Bristol U19 team ended the past week with a record of 1-2, with each game a dogfight to the last at bat.
On Sunday, June 28, Bristol split a doubleheader with West Hartford, losing the first game 3-2, and then winning the second, 3-1. Jared Duquette was the tough luck loser in game 1, going 5.3 innings. In the top of the sixth, Bristol scored 2 to take the lead, but West Hartford countered with 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th to pull out the win. In the second game, Trevor Mays went the distance, giving up a single run in a 3-1 Bristol victory.
On Thursday, July 2nd, Berlin and Bristol battled into extra innings, with Berlin plating three runs in the top of the 10th to pull out a 5-2 victory. Jagger Duquette pitched 8 solid innings, and Jacobi Bouchard took the loss, pitching the final 2.
