The City of Bristol’s disc golf course located at Page Park has moved up in ranking as one of the most popular disc golf courses in Connecticut for 2020.
In their list of the most popular disc golf courses in every state for 2020, UDisc announced this week that Bristol’s Page Park Disc Golf Course moved to the 20th spot, up ten from its 30thranking in 2019.
UDisc’s rating is based on how many rounds are logged at each course each year. This is the third year in a row that the disc golf course at Page Park has made the UDisc list.
The Page Park Disc Golf Course is located on 24 acres of public park land. Designed by James Lane in 2009, it is a free 18-hole disc golf course open year round. This hilly course features both open and wooded holes as well as a water hazard.
Page Park has been ranked by UDisc as the most played Disc Golf Course in Connecticut for the past three years, and with both long and short tee options, Page Park Disc Golf is the perfect course for both beginner players and tournament play.
“The disc golf courses at Page and Rockwell are not only unique features of our park system, but are nationally recognized with players coming to the city from all over the world,” stated Superintendent of Parks, Recreation, Youth and Community Services, Joshua Medeiros.
