The temperature is on the rise the next few days with anticipated high heat and humidity. Here are the cooling stations for those needing help to get away from the heat.

The Bristol Public Library will be open Saturday from 8:30am-5:00pm, and in Forestville, the Manross Library will be open from 9:00am -5:00pm.

Bristol Parks and Recreation reports all splash pads will be open from 1pm -7pm 

The Agape House, 43 School Street, will be open Saturday, from 8am – 12 noon.

Local businesses often welcome individuals to come in from the heat, but we remind them to be conscientious.

As a reminder, kindly check in on family and/or elderly neighbors. Keep hydrated and remember, animals should not be left outside in the heat or in vehicles.
