The City of Bristol is advising residents that on Thursday, July 1, from 7am until late into the evening, Eversource Gas will be doing construction from East Street moving west to Main Street.

While one lane of traffic will always be open, residents are advised that traffic on this route will be difficult based on road closures on Memorial Blvd.

Drivers are asked to utilize alternate routes to avoid long traffic waits.
