The Bristol Farmers Market will return to downtown on Saturday, July 10 from 10 am until 1 pm at Centre Square.
The July 10th Farmers Market will feature music by Wavy McGrady.
The Bristol Police Department will be on hand to provide a venue to get to speak with local police officers to get to know them. The PD will also be providing educational materials for the community on a wide range of topics.
The CT Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association will be on hand to promote the End Alzheimer’s Walk to take place in September at Lake Compounce in Bristol.
The Showcase of Stars will be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win some amazing raffle basket prizes – all proceeds will benefit the Bristol Catholic Schools.
Gresczyk Farms will have sweet corn and Green Acres Farm will once again be selling their fresh grass-fed beef. Shop at the Bristol Farmers Market this weekend for products ranging from farm fresh vegetables, fruits and products from local farms; to hand-made beef jerky; to baked goods; coffee; maple syrup; beer; craft spirits; organic snacks; and other locally-produced and made products.

And the food trucks will be Dude’s Donuts and Heavenly Smoke BBQ.
The Bristol-Burlington Health District is offering Healthy Family food vouchers to those families who qualify and can shop at the Market, and the vouchers for senior citizens will be available from the Senior Center in mid-July, giving them $15 booklets to spend at participating vendors which can be used any time during the 2021 season. If you are a senior, you may contact the Senior Center at 860-584-7895 weekdays from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm to see if you are eligible and to receive your coupon book for the season.
In addition, the Bristol Farmers Market has been approved to become an Authorized EBT Farmers Market and will soon be equipped to accept EBT cards, bringing access to fresh produce to even more people.
ADA accessible parking spaces are available in the new City parking lot and golf cart transportation to the entrance of the market will be available for anyone who may need it. Additional parking is also available at the Bristol Health Medical Center with access from Hope Street and in the empty parking lot across the street from City Hall. Parking and the entrance to the market is accessible from Hope Street.
The City of Bristol Farmers Market is recognized by the Connecticut Department of Agriculture as accepting payment vouchers from the Women, Infants, and Children Farmers Market Nutrition Program and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. All participating farms are certified by the Connecticut Department of Agriculture.
