Bristol Today- the day in review July 24

Farmer’s Market has largest crowd of the year

The farmers market had its largest crowds of the year this morning, as the beautiful weather drew many Bristolites to Centre Square. Several of the vendors said today’s crowd was the biggest by far.
The other factor beside the great day is that corn, tomatoes, and other produce are all in-season now, so the farms have a great selection of all fruits and vegetables. And the smell of fresh apple-cider donuts don’t hurt, either.

Bristol Blues home at Muzzy tonight

If you are looking for something to do tonight or tomorrow, the Blues have a game at 6:30 tonight with Mystic and face off against Newport Sunday at 5:30. The Blues have turned around their season with great play recently, so it’s a good time to head to Muzzy Field to see them compete.
