On Monday, August 30, 2021 at approximately 2:00 p.m. Bristol police officers responded to Huntington Woods apartments at 200 Blakeslee Street for a report that a female had been shot.

When officers arrived, they found a 41 year old female suffering from a gunshot wound in an apartment.

EMS was called to the scene and the female was transported to an area hospital, where she remains in serious but stable condition.

A preliminary investigation determined the incident appears to be isolated and there is no danger to the public.
