The Bristol Rotary Club is announcing that it will be holding its 3rd Annual Miniature Golf Fundraiser on Sunday, September 12th, from 2 – 6 p.m. at Hidden Valley Miniature Golf & Waterfront Grille.
Proceeds from event will benefit local youth initiatives and scholarships for Bristol Central High School InterAct students.
“The Rotary Club held a traditional golf tournament for over 30 years. Three years ago, we decided to make some changes and play Mini Golf instead. It is something that appeals to all ages, whether you are 2, 20 or 80,” said Patti Philippon, chair of the Club’s Mini Golf Committee.
Participants will have the opportunity to play a fun round of 18-holes of golf, take part in a Hole-in-One competition, enter a 50/50 raffle, and try their luck winning some fun drawing prizes. In addition, each player goes home with a goodie bag.
The Rotary Club, founded in 1927, supports a wide range of programs, including local health care facilities to early education initiatives, from museums to historical entities to environmental and scientific programs. Their focus is largely directed toward causes which address the needs of the young people of the community.
The Miniature Golf Fundraiser will be held rain or shine at Hidden Valley Miniature Golf and Waterfront Grille, 2060 West Street, Southington. Day-of-tickets can be purchased by cash or Venmo. Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for children ages 12 and under. For more information, visit: www.bristolrotaryclub.org.
