The Bristol Eastern volleyball team was dominant for three out of four sets in defeating East Catholic Friday night from the Lancer gym.
The Eastern girls started off with a sharp performance over the first two sets, winning by scores of 25-17 and 25-19.
The Lancers had a bit of a hiccup in the third set, losing 25-23 to the Eagles.
But Eastern returned to form in the fourth set, dominating from start to finish, and winning 25-8.
The Lancers were led by Lauren Bender with 12 kills and 8 digs, Alex Shorette with 6 kills and 7 aces, and Abby Jones, who was credited with 17 assists.
Bristol Eastern is now 1-1, and hosts Newington on Monday.
