The Bristol Park Department recently issued a report of all the activities, classes, entertainment, and community service the department was able to offer this past summer. The numbers are impressive.
Some of the highlights include the following:
- The use of the Page and Rockwell pools was extensive, with well over 6,000 patrons at the two pools.
- Almost 2,000 youngsters attended summer camps.
- 86 different groups were granted permits to use the sports fields in Bristol.
- The Rockwell Park Concert Series drew large crowds every week, with an estimated total of 4,200 concert-goers.
- The department served many people in need of help, as evidenced by the graphic below.
- 13 COVID vaccine clinics were offered during the summer months
