Coreen M. (Plourde) Ouellette, 78, of Bristol, beloved wife of Reynald R. Ouellette, died on her birthday, Saturday, Oct. 9, at The Pines at Bristol.
Coreen was born in Bristol on Oct. 9, 1943, and was one of nine children of the late Cecil and Lucille (Clukey) Plourde. A lifelong Bristol resident, she graduated from Bristol Central High School in 1961 and worked as a cashier at the local grocery stores. She loved to read and play cards and especially enjoyed the time she shared with her only grandchild. She was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish attending St. Anthony Church.
In addition to her husband of 57 years, Coreen is survived by two children: Noelle Ouellette and partner, Jay Calise, and Michael Ouellette and wife, Claire, all of Bristol; five brothers: Gary Plourde of Terryville, Douglas Plourde of Florida, Bruce, Dean, and Steven Plourde of Bristol; two sisters: Margaret Monahan and Pamela Labadia of Bristol; her beloved granddaughter: Caitlyn Ouellette; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Eric Plourde.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Oct. 18, at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 111 School St., Bristol. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
