Debra I. Dunican, 52, of Wolcott, beloved wife of Matthew E. Dunican, died on Tuesday, Nov. 23, at St. Mary Hospital, Waterbury.

Debra was born on May 21, 1969, in New Britain and was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lois (White) LaBarre.

She was raised in Bristol and formerly lived in Bristol before moving to Wolcott. She enjoyed caring for her children and was a second mom to many. 

Debra leaves six children: Joseph, Emily, Elizabeth Morin, Rachel LaBarre, Cameron and Benjamin Dunican; a sister: Maureen Lafland; five grandchildren: Zoey, Lilyann, Calvin, Jr., Jacob Thomas, and Wyatt; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by infant son, Austin Dunican. 

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Dec. 2, between 10 a.m. and 12 noon at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol.
