The St. Paul girls jumped out with a 22 point first quarter and were never really threatened as they coasted to a 73-47 victory Friday night over Kennedy of Waterbury.
Nadia Reimer and Haileigh Orzel led the Falcons with 17 and 16 points respectively. Zoey Rubins and Emily Ronalter chipped in with 7 points apiece, and Abbey Stanford added 6.
Reimer added 6 assists to her impressive performance, and Zoe Rubins and Izzy Leggett each had 5 assists on a night that featured crisp ball movement throughout.
Alexis Tierpack led St. Paul in rebounds with 8.
Kennedy was led by Niyah Brown with 20 points and Meryoh Caraballo added 15.
St. Paul’s next game will be home against Ansonia on Tuesday, Dec. 21, in the Brian Monnerat Gymnasium.
