Antoinette (Ronzello) “Toni” Chiarillo, 93, of Bristol, widow of Frank Chiarillo, died on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington.
Toni was born in Bristol on Aug. 16, 1928, and was the only daughter of the late Mauro and Teresa (DiFato) Ronzello. A lifelong resident of Bristol, Toni graduated from Bristol High School and was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish devoted to St. Anthony Church.
She raised three children with her beloved husband Frank and loved her family deeply. Toni worked for 23 years at the Barnes Group in Bristol before retiring. She enjoyed being in the sunshine, whether it was at Laurel Beach in Milford or the winters in Hollindale, Fla.
Toni is survived by three children: William Chiarillo and wife Priscilla, of Bristol, Teresa Baldyga and husband, Jerome of Terryville, and Linda Stout and husband, Richard of Huntington Beach, Calif.; her brother Anthony Ronzello and his wife Nancy of California; seven grandchildren: Robert, Keith, Frank, Billy, David, Marina, and Christina; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Willie Ronzello and sister-in-law Dolores Ronzello.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Dec. 30, at 9 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Anthony Church, 111 School St., Bristol for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.
Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Family and friends are invited to call at Funk Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 29, between 5 and 7 p.m.
