Ginette A. Letourneau, 61, of Bristol, died at her home on Sunday, Jan. 2. Ginette was born in St. Ludger, Quebec, Canada on Sept. 24, 1960, to Therese (Gagne) Letourneau of Bristol and the late Reginald Letourneau.
Ginette was a lifelong Bristol resident where she graduated from Bristol Eastern High School. She was the owner and operator of her own property management firm, Shelby Properties. She loved gardening and was known for the sanctuary she kept in her back yard. She was a loving aunt, friend whose door was always open to anyone who needed her.
In addition to her mother, Ginette is survived by her devoted fiancé: Teddy Sobol of Bristol; nine siblings and their spouses: Diane and Donald Gregoire of Bristol, Michel and Francoise Letourneau, Renelle and Michel Therrien of Lac-Mégantic, Quebec, Canada, Nicole Letourneau of Montreal, Canada, Andre and Terry Letourneau of Harwinton, Regis and Carmen Letourneau of Harwinton, Clement and Carol Letourneau of Bristol, Edith and Mario Saucier of Bristol, Daniel Letourneau of Bristol; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, Ginette was pre-deceased by two sisters: Martine Letourneau and Lise Ouellette, and a brother: Bruno Letourneau.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 7, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
