Clarence Sirois, 80, of Bristol, beloved husband of Camilla (Fortin) Sirois, died on Friday, Jan. 14, at Bristol Hospital. Clarence was born in Green River, New Brunswick, Canada, on Dec. 1, 1941, and was a son of the late Leonard and Amanda (Cyr) Sirois.
Raised in Edmundston, New Brunswick, he has lived in Bristol for the past 58 years and was employed at Wyco Chromium in Thomaston until retiring. He enjoyed his food and loved to cook and work on cars. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Parish attending St. Ann Church where he and Camilla were married 58 years ago.
In addition to his wife, Clarence is survived by a daughter: Lisa (Sirois) Cuadrado of Bristol; a sister: Gisele (Sirois) Dionne of Waterbury; six grandchildren: Julia (Thompson) Ranzenberger and her spouse, Frank, Jr. of Ohio, Jessica (Sirois) LLanos and her spouse, Cesar of Pennsylvania, Gary DeFilippe, Jr., Tabitha and Erica Sirois all of Bristol as well as Naval Petty Officer 1st Class, Curtis Sirois of Virginia; six great-grandchildren: Hailey and Ethan Ranzenberger of Ohio, Ashley Benoit, Alexandra and Christian LLanos all of Pennsylvania, and Jayleen Diaz of Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by two daughters: Pauline (Sirois) Deed and Amanda (Sirois) O’Garth, a brother: Rodolphe Sirois; two sisters: Corinne Sirois and Mona (Sirois) Nadeau; and a grandson: Thomas Kenney IV.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann Church, 215 West St., Bristol, on Monday, Jan. 24, at 12 noon. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. There are no calling hours. Please visit Clarence’s memorial website at www.FunkFuneralHome.com.
