Tonight, the Bristol Eastern girls basketball team travels to Newington high school in first round action of the Central Connecticut Conference tournament.
Game time is 6 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the door for $5 per person (it was originally reported that tickets had to be purchased online which was incorrect).
Eastern (8-11 overall) is ranked 15th in the tournament set-up while Newington’s No. 2 ranking, at 19-1, is only bested by Enfield.
The last time the teams squared off, Eastern’s Ciara Collins went for 25 points and the All-Stater is looking for another big game – hoping to pull off a tremendous upset to help her squad advance in tournament play.
