Bristol Co-op Swimmers lose first meet of the season by 1 point to Berlin

The Bristol Boys Co-op swim team lost a heartbreaker in their meet against Berlin, 92-91, despite 16 best times and 8 first place finishes. It was the team’s first loss of the year.

Bristol finished first in the 200 Medley Relay (Aidan Collins, Nathan Stellmach, Quentin Hernandez and Davis Kroll).

Davis Kroll placed first in the 200 IM and the 100 free. 

Nathan Stellmach had firsts in the 50 free and 100 breast. 

Mikel Palaj finished first in the 100 fly, as did Aidan Collins in the 100 Back.

Palaj, Collins, Kroll and Stellmach won the 400 free relay. 

The Bristol team had great swims by Konrad Truszkowski in the 200 free, Thomas Masotti in the 200 IM, Jacob Wilson in the 50 free and 100 breast, Quentin Hernandez in the 100 fly and 100 back, and Aidan Colaianni in the 50 and 100 free. 

With the loss, Bristol falls to 9 – 1 on the season.


The team swims their Senior Night against Middletown Tuesday at home.
