Bristol Co-op Swimmers lose to Middletown Tuesday

The Bristol Co-op swim team lost their second meet of the season to Middletown Tuesday afternoon by a score of 95-82.

In spite of the loss, the team featured several strong performances.

In the 200 Medley Relay, Bristol’s team of Davis Kroll, Nathan Stellmach, Mikel Palaj, and Aiden Collins took 1st place in a time of 1:44.41. The team of Ryleigh Dionne, Jacob Wilson, Quentin Hernandez, and Thomas Masotti placed 2nd in 2:02.67.

Davis Kroll finished 2nd in the 200 Free finishing in 1:55.37.

 Mikel Palaj won the 200 IM in 2:03.39.

Nathan Stellmach took 1st place in the 5o free in a time of 22.57.

Tyler Wilson finished in 4th place in diving with a score of 167.25.

In the 100 fly, Mikel Palaj finished first in 53.79, Thomas Masotti took 3rd in 1:03.05, and Quentin Hernandez finished 4th in 1:09.58.

in the 500 free, Konrad Truszkowksi took 4th place in 6:14.48.

The team of Tyler Wilson, Ryleigh Dionne, Quentin Hernandez, and Jacob Wilson finished 3rd in the 200 freestyle relay in 1:49.42.

In the 100 backstroke, Davis Kroll finished 2nd in 59.59 and Aidan Collins took 3rd in 1:00.54.

Nathan Stellmach won the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.58, while Jacob Wilson took 2nd in 1:16.38.

 And in the 400 freestyle relay, Palaj, Collins, Kroll, and Stellmach were victorious in a time of 3:34.92.

the team’s next meet is CCC South championships on March 4th at Platt High School.
