Tracy L. Tacinelli, 55, of Bristol, beloved wife of Matthew Tacinelli, died on Friday, March 25, at home. Tracy was born in Bristol on Oct. 19, 1966, and was a daughter of James Scelza of Thomaston and Linda (Proudman) Laviero of Bristol.
A lifelong Bristol resident, she graduated from St. Anthony Grammar School and Bristol Central High School Class of 1984 where she was president of DECA and was a member of the volleyball and track teams.
She received her sacraments and married Matt at St. Anthony Church, Bristol. She worked for The Hartford Insurance Company in sales support. Tracy enjoyed playing Dek hockey at Plainville Indoor Sports Arena where she played goalie and had a true love of animals which it showed in the care of her Dachshunds, Suzi and Sammi, and her parrot, Bud.
In addition to her husband and parents, Tracy is survived by two sons: Justin Tacinelli and wife, Taylor (Tavera) of Bristol and Joey Tacinelli and fiancée, Bonny Guadalupe of Queens, N.Y.; two granddaughters: Nina and Elia; her mother-in-law: Lorraine Tacinelli of Plainville; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 1, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Anthony Church, 111 School St., Bristol. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol on Thursday between 5 and 8 p.m.
