Rockwell Park will be upgrading its fitness trail and adding several major improvements with recently awarded ARPA funds, Bristol Parks, Recreation, Youth & Community Services announced.

Parks will be adding a major outdoor gym area next to the volleyball courts and overlooking the splash pad area. In addition, there will be upgrades to the fitness trail surface and replacement of the aging apparatus for new ADA accessible fitness areas along the trail. The project should be completed this fall.

All the new equipment is designed and made by Kopan, a leading international supplier of outdoor exercise equipment.  

BPRY&CS is looking to promote health and fitness to all in the community. The whole gym is handicapped accessible.
