At the 39th annual CAS-CIAC Scholar-Athlete Awards Banquet from the Aqua Turf in Southington, several local athletes were honored for their achievements on the field and in the classroom. 

And on Sunday, Bristol Eastern’s Fiona Gallagher and Logan Crowley were honored by the CIAC at the ceremony.

Both athletes competed on the school’s cross county, indoor and outdoor track teams over the past four years and have been extremely successful.

Gallagher is her class’s Valedictorian and is All Academic.

She plans on attending Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine at the completion of her scholastic education.

Crowley is a Boys State nominee, participated in Model UN and was also All Academic at Eastern.
