Nancy H. Donaghy, 79, of Nettles Island, Jensen Beach, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Friday July 1. Nancy was born on Oct. 19, 1942, in ST. Johnsbury, Vt. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Marion (Gray) Corriveau in East Barnet, Vt. Nancy was a graduate of St. Johnsbury Academy.

Nancy married Ronald P. Donaghy of Bristol, Conn., and spent over 60 beautiful years together. They raised their four children in Bristol. Nancy and Ron settled in Nettles Island, Jensen Beach, Fla., for their retirement years. Nancy was a long-time member of St. Anthony Church. She worked in various banks in Bristol and retired from First Bristol Federal Credit Union as a Loan Officer.

She enjoyed camping trips, family get togethers, long car rides, country music, and dancing. During retirement, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, summering at “The House” in Vermont, and hanging with friends down at the Cafe.

Nancy is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald Donaghy; her four children: Bonnie Dunlap of Port St. Lucie, Fla., Steve Donaghy and wife, Paula of Bristol, Timothy Donaghy of Enfield, and Bruce Donaghy and wife Heather of Blountville, Tenn.; her grandchildren: Jenna, Josh, Shane, Abigail, Todd, and Courtney Donaghy; and her great grandchild: Kayloz who they have taken under their wing. In addition, her step grandsons: Jason and Christopher Dunlap.  Nancy was predeceased by her granddaughter, Kara Chagnon, and son-in-law: Daniel Dunlap.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours on Thursday, July 28, at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave, Bristol, between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. with a prayer service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol.
