The Bristol Police released a report of last night’s pursuit of vehicles involved in shootings at multiple locations in town.

On Monday night, Bristol police received multiple 911 calls regarding shots being fired. The calls began in the area of King St. and Broad St., and more calls came in from the area of Jerome Ave. and Davis Dr.

The calls indicated that there were several vehicles speeding through the city and actively shooting at each other.

Police who responded located several crime scenes and one of the suspect vehicles. A chase ensued which went from Bristol and crossed several other jurisdictions, including Farmington and Plainville. The State Police also were involved. The pursuit was terminated without incident.

There were no injuries to any citizens. Several crime scenes are under investigation and remain active.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Bristol Police Department at 860-584-3000.

  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access eight (8) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
