Betty (Peterson) Carlson, 91, of Annville, Pa., formerly of Bristol, widow of Robert W. Carlson, died on Thursday, Sept. 15. Betty was born on March 1, 1931, in Bristol and was a daughter of the late Nils and Martha (Ramberg) Peterson. She was a longtime Bristol resident where she graduated from Bristol High School. She was employed at Forestville Lumber for several years and was an active member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, Forestville.
Betty is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law: Gary and Bridget Grieve-Carlson of Annville, Pa., and Brian Carlson of Bristol; three grandchildren: Timothy Grieve-Carlson of Pittsburgh, Jessye Grieve-Carlson of Baltimore, and Grace Grieve-Carlson of Brooklyn; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by all her siblings: Clarence, Gordon, Warren, Arthur, Roger, and George Peterson, Jean Martino, and Lillian Radke.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, at 11 a.m. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 355 Camp St., Forestville. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Bristol.
