Pearl M. (Michaud) Boisvert, 93, of Plainville, widow of Armand P. Boisvert, died on Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Bristol Hospital. Pearl was born in Madawaska, Maine, on April 25, 1929, and was a daughter of the late Herbert and Cecile (Bouchard) Michaud. Raised in New Britain where she attended New Britain High School, she married Armand in 1946 and they settled in Bristol in 1950. An excellent cook, she worked for Harrison Stationers and Superior Electric in her younger years and was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church, Bristol.
Pearl is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas P. and Emelia Boisvert of Plainville and Jeffrey P. and Linda Boisvert of Bristol; four grandchildren: Lisa Keegan and partner, Edward Heath, Leslie Page and husband, Jesse, Emily Boisvert, and Philip Boisvert and partner Victoria Valente; three great-grandchildren: Elizabeth Keegan, and Brynn and Lexi Page; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two siblings: Ernest Michaud and Gilmay Briganti.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 33 Queen St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Bristol. Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, prior to the Mass on Monday between 8:30 and 9:30 a.m.
