The History of Bristol Parks will be presented Thursday night at the Bristol Historical Society

Tomorrow evening at 6:30 at the Bristol Historical Society, Sarah Larsen, Deputy Superintendent Of the Bristol Park Department, will present a program on the History of Bristol Parks. The program will explore the story of local parks dating back to the 1600s.

The program will include photos, postcards, maps and wills detailing the development of our local parks system. The future plans for our parks will also be presented, especially the next four year plan on the Page Park improvements.

The Bristol Historical Society will also have the Annual Holiday Ornament available for purchase ($20 each). Ornaments feature the Rockwell Park lagoon on one side and the Page Park Pool on the other. Admission is free for Bristol Historical Society members and $5 for non-members.
