The Saint Paul girls basketball team rode a season-high scoring night from Haileigh Orzel in defeating Oxford in an NVL home game Friday, defeating the visitors 51-44.
Orzel was scorching from beyond the arc all night, knocking down 7 threes for a total of 21 points to lead the Falcons.
Rebecca Kelly was a big contributor with a 16 point performance.
Audrey Tice was credited with 8 assists on an unusually quiet scoring night for her.
Mikayla Walton and Lindsay Buirauskas led Oxford with 18 and 10 points respectively.
Saint Paul is now 7-4, and the Falcons play next at Crosby of Waterbury on Tuesday in a 7:00 start.
