St. Paul girls basketball is dominant in 78-34 victory over Crosby Tuesday night

The St. Paul girls popped in 29 points in a torrid first quarter and never slowed down from there in posting an easy 78-34 win over Crosby of Waterbury Tuesday evening.

Falcons coach Joe Mone was given the opportunity to play his entire roster, and he took good advantage of it, as eleven St. Paul players put points on the board.

Audrey Tice led the way for the Falcons with a 23 point performance, which was even more impressive because of the limited minutes the starters played.

Olivia Dahn broke through with 14 points on the night. Rebecca Kelly added 9, Zola Cudjoe had 8, and Haileigh Orzel and Kelsea Tefoe chipped in with 6 apiece.

Crosby was led by Jordan Saunders and Joi Jackson with 13 and 12 points respectively.

The Falcons now improve to 8-4 on the season, and return home to host Woodland Regional on Friday at 7:00.
