Paula Harrington, 58

Paula J. Harrington 58, of Bristol died on Saturday, Feb. 11, at Bristol Hospital with her daughter by her side. Paula was born in Bristol on June 10, 1964, and was a daughter to Carole (Dart) Harrington and the late Paul Harrington.

A lifelong resident of Bristol, she graduated from Bristol Eastern in 1984. She was a big fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Cowboys and enjoyed watching the games. She also loved vacationing at the Cape for mother-daughter trips most of all, she loves her grandsons. She loves spending time with them and watching them grow up.

She was known to be a kind, caring person, and would help anyone with a smile despite her illness. She always demonstrated courage and strength throughout her illness and will always be remembered for her never giving up attitude.

Paula is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and David Mazzone of Burlington and her two grandsons Colton and Hunter. Her mother Carole Harrington of Bristol, a brother, Robert Harrington, and wife, Kavitha of California; sister, Kathy Shane, and husband Steve Shane; a niece, Katie Roane and her nephews, Kannan and Tarun Harrington.  

Relatives and friends may call at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, on Wednesday, Feb. 15, between 5 and 7 p.m. Funeral and burial in St. Joseph Cemetery will be private.
