Tuesday, you are on the clock. Do not disappoint.
Weather
67 and cloudy. No offense, but you are boring.
Shopping days
Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 7, which means there are only 217 shopping days remaining. What will Santa leave under the election tree?
Pothole Patrol
The GMB staff drives over this beauty daily at the intersection of Beths Avenue and Hiltbrand Road.
Fix your divots, Bristol. Granted, it is not “Pebble Beach or the “Autobahn,” but what are the “greens fees” going to?
Bristol’s News of the Weird
According to the Kenosha Telegraph dated Feb. 21, 1851, in January of that year in good old Bristol, while lowering the corpse of Mrs. Johnson into the grave, Jesse Gaylord, aged 44, fell back dead. He is buried in West Cemetery.
Zamboni Time
Fire up the Zamboni so we have a clean sheet of ice for Thursday. Until then, enjoy the slide the puck contest and the paper airplane toss.
All TBE readers, supporters and donors
The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.
- Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
- Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
- Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.
Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
