Good morning, Bristol!

Thursday, you are on the books. Now don’t screw up.

Weather

55, the chance of rain is 62 percent.

Pothole Patrol

Sunday afternoon, Lt Gworski of the PHP hit this one square while cruising Bristol. In a word, he was not blanking happy.

Bristol potholes can be reported to Public Works online via here.

Ideas

Former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations and presidential hopeful Nikki Haley wants government leaders of an advanced age to undergo a “cognitive test.”

And Trump wants federal employees to take a civil service test. Workers who fail, will be fired.

Hmm, perhaps they are onto something. Tell ya what, in that case, the GMB staff suggests all politicians be subject to a Lie Detector Test and a Wonderlic test. Those who do not “pass” or are caught lying, are dismissed.

What is good for the goose is good for the gander.

Apologies

Apologies to Bristol sportsman Vern Needler. TBE editor Dave Fortier has GMB staff on a word diet, so we don’t have time to mention your fish story.

The over and out

That does it. See ya Friday (maybe), Bristol.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
