Good morning, Bristol!

Welcome to Tuesday, Bristol. It will be here all day, so get used to it.

Weather

Scattered thunderstorms, high 70s.

The Pothole Patrol rides again

Speaking of Page Park, the pothole near the pavilion is so big that the Lunar Excursion Module could land in it. NASA is sending a mission team to Page, and they should be there by Wednesday. Thursday the latest. Friday, tops.

If you come across a pothole in the good ole city of Bristol it can be reported here.

On this date in music

August 15, 1975, Peter Gabriel leaves Genesis. After allegedly auditioning over 400 musicians, theur very own drummer Phil Collins is named the new lead singer.

Aug. 15, 1979, Led Zeppelin releases their 8th and final studio album “In Through the Out Door.” It would go on to sell over 6 million copies in the U.S.

Could not have said it better

“Come on Chumley. We’re going to see Mr. Whoopee!”

– Tennessee Tuxedo

We are all going to see Mr. Whoopee, Tennesse.

The Brush Off

Time to get lost for a few days. Keep the weight off, Bristol.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
