The Bristol Eastern volleyball team hosted Trumbull Wednesday night, and the visitors left the BE gym with a big victory, as a strong Trumbull team swept the Lancers by scores of 25-21, 25-13, and 25-17.

Eastern competed with Trumbull throughout the first set, but in the end the visitors pulled away for a four point victory.

In the final two sets, the Lancers never really had any momentum, as they went down fairly quickly to the Trumbull attack.

BE is now 1-1 on the year. They play at Platt tonight in a 6:00 contest.
