Linda Kopsak, 74

Linda Kopsak, 74, of Bristol, passed away on Friday Sept. 8. She was born on March 7, 1949, in Bristol, daughter of the late Joseph E. and Alice (Chomko) Kopsak. 

Linda was a dedicated teacher for the Bristol school system for 35 years, spending most of those years as a member the History Department at Bristol Central High School.  She loved spending winters in Florida and was an avid guitarist. 

Linda is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Smith of Cumming, Ga.; brother Joseph J. Kopsak and his wife Lynn of Glastonbury; grandchildren Kaden and Kamryn Smith of Cumming, Ga.; nephew Joseph R. Kopsak of Tampa, Fla.; niece Stephanie Bartos and husband Brian of New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; niece Andrea Przychodzen and husband Conrad of East Hampton; great niece and nephew Brooke and Nicholas Przychodzen and several cousins.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
