Playing for the second night in a row proved to be a tough task for the Bristol Eastern volleyball team Thursday, as the Lancers lost to Berlin at the Redcoat’s gym.
Berlin had an easy time in the first two sets, winning by nine and ten points respectively.
The Lancers rallied in the third set, pulling out a 25-23 win, but Berlin was not to be denied and ended the match with a 25-20 victory in set four.
Samara Paranzino had 4 aces, 7 digs for Eastern. Savannah Drury added 1 ace and 1 dig, while Kamila Mateo-Rivera had 1 kill and 1 assist.
Eastern is now 3-3, and travels to Meriden to face Maloney on Monday for a 5:30 match-up.
