When the polls opened this morning, there were just over 35,000 people eligible to vote in today’s municipal election. Of them, over 15,000 are unaffiliated, 12,000 are Democrats and 8,000 are Republicans. Other parties included in these numbers are Independent, Green Party, Libertarian and Working Families.
Voters will choose mayor, city council, board of education, treasurer, and board of assessment appeals.
For District 1, polls will be Edgewood Pre-K Academy, Northeast Middle School and Mountain View School.
For District 2, polls will be opened at Chippens Hill Middle School, West Bristol School or South Side.
For District 3, Bristol Eastern High School, BAIMS and Greene-Hills School.
