Bristol Police release name of car crash fatality

The driver who died in the Dec. 22 two-car crash on Wolcott Road has been identified as Jessica Gray, a 21-year old Bristol resident, the Bristol Police stated in a release this morning.

On the afternoon of Dec. 22, the Bristol Police Department responded to the area of Wolcott Road, north of Old Wolcott Road for a serious two vehicle crash with injuries.

Upon arrival, first responders provided medical aid to both operators. One operator was transported to an area hospital to be evaluated. The second operator was pronounced dead at scene.

The Bristol Police Department’s Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team responded to the scene to further investigate.

The initial investigation showed that the deceased operator was traveling southbound on Wolcott Road and crossed over the double center line. The vehicle was then struck by a northbound vehicle by the injured driver.
