A Bristol woman was a fatality in a house fire on Pequabuck Street mid-morning on Thursday, according to reports on WFSB and the Hartford Courant. A dog also perished.
Bristol firefighters responded to a call from a neighbor who saw smoke and extinguished the fire within 20 minutes, according to the reports which cited Bristol Fire Chief Rick Hart. The call came in at around 9:15 a.m.
The development where the home was built was constructed in 2021. The house was condemned. The fire is being investigated by Bristol Fire Marshal.
The victim has not been identified.
