Bristol police report shooting incident at East Road and Union Street

At approximately 6:45 p.m., Bristol Police received multiple 911 calls in the area of East Road and Union Street where an adult male was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, Bristol Police reported.

Officers arrived and provided medical aid to the victim who was transported to an area Hospital where he is currently in surgery.

Police are seeking a Red Infiniti G37, with Connecticut Registration BK77317 due to its involvement in this incident. If anyone sees this vehicle, they are asked to contact local law enforcement. Please do not approach the vehicle or its occupants.

At this time it appears this incident is a targeted act of violence. If anyone has any further information, they are asked to contact Bristol Police at (8600 584-3000.
