The Bristol boys co-op lacrosse team hosted Enfield Monday night at Bristol Central and the boys came away with their 7th win of the season by a score of 15-3.

Coming into the game without their starting goalie Nick Martino, the Bristol squad relied on Vincent Howley in the cage and he proved more than up for the task. He finished with 9 saves on 12 shots.

Offensively the Co-op was firing on all cylinders right from the start with Ian Reardon and Jayden Glasper each contributing with five goals. Dylan Brown was all over the place winning ten ground balls to secure possession over and over for Bristol. Brady Bell proved himself as a masterful tactical player with three goals and three assists.  Thomas Stoot picked up three dimes and Tyghe Collins had a goal and three ground balls.

Typical solid support was found from Chase Dauphinee and Brayden Dwyer who contributed goals and ground balls. Jack Hartley and Hayden Tichy were solid on D as Jack scooped up five ground balls.

The team is really humming as the second half schedule heats up.

Next up for the co-op is a return match at Enfield on Wednesday.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
