Claude Joseph Poirier, 76, of Farmington, passed away at home on Tuesday, May 14, with his wife by his side. He was born on Sept. 28, 1947, in Canada, son of the late Wilfred and Rollande (Boutin) Poirier.

Besides his wife Jeannette, Claude is survived by his sisters Pierrette Rehaume and her husband Patrice, Lyne Morin and her husband Yvin, Martine Roy and her husband Clermond, Loren Lessard and her husband Daniel, Ghislaine Brochu and her husband Pierre and several nieces and nephews.
Claude is predeceased by his two sons Michael and Richard, his brother Raymond and his sister Doris Poulin.
The family would like to thank Hospice from Home for all the support during this difficult time.
Calling Hours will be held at O’Brien Funeral Home, 24 Lincoln Ave., Bristol on Wednesday, May 22, from 3 p.m. until a funeral home service that will begin at 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for you to share an act of kindness to a family who is going through a challenging time with a loved one.
All TBE readers, supporters and donors
The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.
- Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
- Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
- Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.
Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
