Commemorative DJT edition

Yesterday, Thursday, May 30, is a day that will live in history. For some, it is a day of sham trials, crooked judges, lying liars and the end of America as we knew it.

For others, it is a day to celebrate true American justice, where even those who are rich and powerful can be brought to justice just like any other citizen.

What will the effect be of this historic verdict? God only knows. Most people seem to be fixed in their respective viewpoints, and nothing, even a felony conviction can change their minds. Only time will tell, but we surely are living in interesting times.

Weather

Sunny, highs in the low 70’s, with a 50 percent chance of an insurrection.

Personalities in the news

Mother Theresa — It was claimed this week that even this saintly figure could not escape conviction in New York City.

Michael Cohen — A convicted liar, cheat, scoundrel and rat was able to convince 12 other scoundrels that they should vote guilty on all counts.

Judge Merchan — At last notice, he was on a plane to Pakistan to enter their witness protection program.

Melania Trump — No idea what she was up to, but some in the know said she was seen madly dancing in the Mar-a-Largo ballroom all by herself.

President Biden — He had already gone to bed, but aides said they would inform him about the verdict in the morning.

A final thought

“Every society gets the kind of criminal it deserves.” — Robert F. Kennedy

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
