Bristol Central Boys track and field places third in Class L Championships

The Bristol Central Boys Track & Field team had a strong third place finish at the Class L Championship on Thursday, May 30, in New Britain. The team scored 68 points and qualified multiple athletes for the State Open Championships.

  • 4×800 meter relay 2nd 8:02.01 Hennessey, Lopez, Wininger, Fabrizio- State Open qualifier 
  • 4×100 7th 43.49 Breland, Davis, N. Georgakopoulos, Paulino- State Open Qualifier
  • 4×400 3rd 3:25.46 Hennessey, N. Georgakopoulos, A. Georgakopoulos, Lopez- State Open qualifier 
  • 110 Hurdles Logan Jackson 6th 15.26 State Open qualifier 
  • 800 meters Rowan Hennessey 3rd 1:56.61 State Open qualifier 
  • Javelin Wyatt Gibson 2nd 156-0 State Open qualifier 
  • Javelin Aengus Repeta 8th 134-8
  • Jack Jones 9th 129-1
  • Pole Vault Kenny Whitford 2nd 13-0 State Open qualifier 
  • Long Jump Will Postell 6th 20-8.75 State Open qualifier 

Triple Jump Nate Davis Champion! 44-1 State Open qualifier 

  • Will Postell 2nd place! 44-0 State open qualifier
  • Anthony Paulino 7th 40-5.25

The State Open Championship is today, June 3, at Willowbrook Park.
