Good morning, Bristol!

Rainbow over St. Joseph Cemetery this past Friday | Staff

Someone once asked, “What do you call a person who doesn’t mind Mondays?”

Answer- “Retired”

Weather

Partly sunny today with a slight chance for a shower. High in the mid 70’s.
If this is too chilly, catch a flight to Phoenix, where the high will be 107-110, but it will be a very dry heat. They can put that on your toe tag in the morgue.

Bristol tax bills are on the horizon

  • Tax bills will be mailed out on June 28.
  • Payments must be mailed by Aug. 1.
  • The 2024 mill rate is 31.85 per $1,000 of assessment on Real Estate and Personal Property.
  • The Motor Vehicle mill rate is 32.46.

Would you like an explanation about mil rates and taxes? Try Google.
Hope all of the above makes you feel better about your life.

If you find a pot of gold, you can use that as a down payment for your property taxes.

We’ll see you on the Dark Side of the Moon, Bristol.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
