End of June is rich with Pokemon challenges

Hello Trainers!

Here we are heading into the last half of June, and they are packing on the Pokémon power, and I am all for it. Let me tell you what’s going on over the rest of this month, and this weekend!

Starting Sunday, June 22, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., we have Community Day for Cyndaquil! This event happened once before and know here’s your chance to get shiny ones. Evolve Quilava (Cyndaquil’s Evolution) during the event or up to two hours afterward to get a Typhlosion that knows the Charged Attack Blast Burn.

Just a reminder for the raids, here are Pokémon and the times for each listed below, along with their locations:

  • Landorus (Incarnate Forme) – In progress through Wednesday, June 19.
  • Yveltal – Wednesday, June 19 to Friday, June 28.
  • Ho-Oh – Friday, June 28 to Monday, July 8.
  • Mega Alakazam – In progress through Wednesday, June 19.
  • Mega Charizard Y – Wednesday, June 19 June to Friday, June 28.
  • Rayquaza- Saturday, June 29, 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Mega Tyranitar – Friday, June 28 to Monday, July 8.

Finally, we have a global event for Pokémon Go to honor Go Fest in Madrid. Starting on Saturday, June 15, and ending on Tuesday, June 18. A beachy time awaits you in Pokémon GO during the Spelunker’s Cove event! Explore and discover some of the Water-type and Rock-type Pokémon of Pokémon GO Fest 2024: Madrid, which will appear during this global event.

Plus, for the first time, Trainers around the world will be able to encounter Shiny Crabrawler—if they’re lucky! Also, For $1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access event-exclusive Timed Research. This Timed Research will give Trainers tasks focused on exploration and powering up Pokémon, and it will include the following rewards:

  • Encounters with Crabrawler
  • 5 Premium Battle Passes
  • 20 Crabrawler Candy

The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Tuesday, June 18, at 8 p.m.

Trainers will be able to purchase and gift tickets to any of their Pokémon GO friends that they have achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with. Please note that purchases—including those made for other Trainers—are non-refundable (subject to applicable law and the exceptions set forth in the Terms of Service). Tickets cannot be purchased with PokéCoins.
