Good morning, Bristol!

Pine Lake Adventure Park | Staff

Ladies and gentlemen and children of all ages welcome to Tuesday June 18, 2024!

Weather

94 and hot. Welcome to the outer edge of Hell.

On the agenda

Fans of the Sewer Commission rejoice because tonight they ride again. The Call to Order is at 6 p.m. and then the fun begins.

  • Will they deny a taxpayer’s waiver of a sewer charge due to a fire once again?
  • What does the I&I Study show?
  • Is there any noteworthy customer correspondence?

Find out for yourself at the Water Filtration Plant located at 1080 Terryville Ave.

New York Yankees second baseman Gene Michael hit a boring groundball in the third inning off California Angels pitcher Nolan Ryan to second baseman Denny Doyle, ending the third inning in the Yankees’ 3-0 loss at Anaheim Stadium.

Also, Georgy Zhukov, a WW II Soviet military commander, died at the age of 77. Currently, there is no credible evidence linking Michael’s groundball out and Zhukov’s death of a, quote, stroke.

The shipping forecast

En fuego, Bristol.

All TBE readers, supporters and donors

The Bristol Edition will be limiting the number of stories non-members and free readers may access each week. This decision is based on our financial projections and, most certainly, to remind people that TBE is serious about providing accurate, timely and thorough reporting for Bristol. To do this we have devised a financial support structure that makes unlimited access extremely affordable, beginning with a $6 monthly donation.

  • Non-members will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Free readers and people who have subscribed by email will be able to access four (4) articles per week.
  • Donors and financial supporters will have unlimited access as long as they log in.

Note: Donors may have to contact TBE if they find they are being limited, since we will need to set up a membership account for you. Email editor@bristoledition.org for instructions. Sorry for any inconvenience. People with financial difficulties may write editor@bristoledition.org to be considered for free access.
